Given to the Greenbrier County Clerk for recording (1794)
After receiving Rev. Alderson’s lists of marriages, the Greenbrier County Clerk entered them into the Record of Marriages. Unfortunately, he misread the groom’s name as “Wm Turdan” instead of “Wm Jurdan” and entered the marriage on the “T” page.
